Into the Woods

Hello Disney Freaks!

Disney's new live-action film "Into the Woods" is going to be released in just three days! "Into the Woods" is a musical new to the Disney studios, but not new to the stage! The show "Into the Woods" has been a live performance on stage since since 1986, and debuted of Broadway in 1987. Thanks to the brilliant mind of Stephen Sondheim, the music and lyrics to the show is phenomenal, and hardly any of the songs seam to repeat a tune. Each of Sondheim's songs have a unique and captivating tune and rhythm that displays brilliantly the character who is performing the piece. The film adaption, directed by Rob Marshall, is most definitely anticipated my both Disney and musical theater nerds across the globe. The film illustrates the fairy tale stories of classic folk tales, and is starring some of Hollywood's most talented performers such as Meryl Streep as the Witch, Anna Kendrick as Cinderella, Johnny Depp as the Wolf, Emily Blunt as the Baker's Wife, and many more talented actors on the screen and on the stage! Come see your favorite bed time stories retold in a whole new way that will transform your childhood dreams into a reality that touches the heart.

In theaters December 25! Christmas Day!

Disney: Why it's magical

I have been spending allot of time in Disneyland lately, and I've come to wonder why Disneyland is so magical! I mean, beyond any other form of entertainment or amusement, Disney seems to be the only one to have obtained the ultimate element...MAGIC!

It's all in the detail! Disney undoubtedly waists no time when it comes to details. From the hidden mickeys, to the character-based bathroom stalls, everything has a theme!

You can experience every element of adventure all in one place! I am at my most joyous state when I can be rescued by Indiana Jones and explore uncharted galaxies all in one day! Not to mention being a princess and a pirate all at once! Living every second of the day with adventure is magic... pure magic! And you can only experience it all through Disney!

The music! The music is the happy thought that makes you fly with a pinch pixie dust! In no other genre of music can you feel all the extreme emotions of love, bravery, joy, and adventure! It's all of our dreams rolled into one soundtrack!

Disney movies are the pixie dust that allows all of the magic to take flight! It's hard to explain why this one is magical, but it undoubtedly is. It's just something you cant explain, but it brings tears of joy in the nostalgia of growing up a Disney kid and of the memories and love it has brought and continues to bring to you and your family.

Well that's all for tonight folks! Though I could rave about Disney all night long it's time I bid you a good night filled with dreams and pixie dust!
God Bless!

Guardians of the Galaxy

Hey Disney Freaks! Well its been a long time, but my Summer started to kick off and so did the Summer Box Office! On August first, Disney-Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy" premiered, and I finally had the priveledge of seeing it. Uncertain of how this unique film would be, I viewed the film and was not at all disappointed. The movie was an action film, but did not lack any comedy. In fact, this film probably contained the most comedy ever as compared to the other Marvel films aside from Iron Man. The soundtrack, filled with oldies by Micheal Jackson and other famous artist of 70's, made the movie fun, exciting, and even somewhat nostalgic for those who grew up with the classics. The film features actor Chris Pratt as the main character "Star-Lord", who is accompanied by well known actors Vin Diesel, Lee Pace, Dave Batista and actress Zoe Saldana as his Galaxy action Gang. The funny and advernturous film will leave you wanting to see the movie again and again. (Spoiler alert: Watch for dancing baby Groot! It will be the highlight of your life!)

Until next time Disney Freaks!
And remember to always live a life full of ADVENTURE!

Cinderella: Live-action film 2015

Yet another live-action fairy tale has hit the agenda of the Disney studio. After a huge success in the box office with Maleficent, Disney is undertaking the project of a live-action Cinderella film scheduled to release in March of 2015. Although it feels like forever in the eyes of an anticipating Disney Freak like us, Disney has already released a teaser trailer of the film to be. Though the trailer reveals hardly any aspect of the story line, it invites us to anticipate the release of yet another great Disney film. The role of Cinderella will be played by Lily James, the fairy Godmother by Elena Bonham Carter, and Cate Blanchett will play Lady Tremain.

Well that's all for tonight folks! See you at the premier in a year!

Disney Fact: This very transformation scene is Walt Disney's favorite
movie scene made during his lifetime.

Disney Dads: Fathers Day

Fathers Day is just around the corner and what better way is there to express our love for dads than to realize what makes them so great. When we do so, we find how similar our dads qualities are to Disney Dads! So here it goes...

Disney Dads: Fathers Day Edition

What we LOVE about Dads

Like Tiana's father...dads are caring. They express love and wisdom toward their children. They hide their struggles in order to preserve childhood and teach the importance of hard work and of dreams. They only want whats best for the future of their children.

Like Mufasa, dads posses wisdom beyond any other individual. They try to protect their young from the dangers of the world and teach them all they know in order to be a strong leader in adulthood.

Like Mr. Incredible, Dads take on the Impossible task of maintaining a family. Though it is a difficult task, they succeed where it counts and keep a strong and loving bond with the entire family.

Like Goofy, Dads can be a bit overwhelming and, well...GOOFY. But everything they do is out of love and in the end, we can never deny how much we truly love them and how much they truly love us.

That's all for tonight folks! Make sure to tell your Dad's how much they truly mean to you and let them know you love them this Fathers Day!

Disney's Maleficent: Movie Review

Disney's Maleficent hit the theaters  May 30 and was a big success in the box office. On opening day, the movie earned a good $70M and was the debut of Angelina Jolie's box-office career. As one of the worlds biggest Disney Freaks, I believe that I can justly claim that the movie was great. Though the movie strayed greatly from the 1959  Disney cartoon of Sleeping Beauty,  it also created in itself, its own story. In other words, the surprises you will obtain from the movie's plot  is so vastly different from the fairy tale we were once told, that we have room in our hearts to believe both versions equally as much as the other. There is enough room in the magical world of Disney for us to hold both tales in our hearts and claim both to be equally as magical. The story is told from the side of Maleficent, which ironically  created a loving and caring tone. Though it was confusing who the true villain was, it also revealed the potential of good and bad in all of us, thus sending a good message about making the right choices from love and not from hurt. Angelina Jolie was the absolute perfect actress for the role as she was a very  majestic and captivating Maleficent. Elle Fanning was a great Princess Aurora, always happy as her role defines to be, and the rest of the cast was equally as amazing as the two leads. Before I reveal the entire movie, though, all I can say is that I highly recommend the film and promise you the satisfaction of a truly magical experience.

Until next time!
"They say if you dream a thing more than once,
its sure to come true"
-Sleeping Beauty
