Snow White: Since 1937

Approximately two weeks ago, Disney celebrated the 78th anniversary of Snow White. Praised for its fairy tale originality as Disney's first animated film, Snow White continues to touch the hearts of Disney Fans across the World. In honor of it's anniversary, here are the top 5 most interesting facts about Walt Disney's first animated film, "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs."

1. Adriana Caselotti  was only 19 years old when she voiced the character of Snow White. Walt Disney wanted her voice to remain unique to the character of Snow White, so she was held to a very strict contract that forbade her from performing on stage and in film again.

Into the Woods

Hello Disney Freaks!

Disney's new live-action film "Into the Woods" is going to be released in just three days! "Into the Woods" is a musical new to the Disney studios, but not new to the stage! The show "Into the Woods" has been a live performance on stage since since 1986, and debuted of Broadway in 1987. Thanks to the brilliant mind of Stephen Sondheim, the music and lyrics to the show is phenomenal, and hardly any of the songs seam to repeat a tune. Each of Sondheim's songs have a unique and captivating tune and rhythm that displays brilliantly the character who is performing the piece. The film adaption, directed by Rob Marshall, is most definitely anticipated my both Disney and musical theater nerds across the globe. The film illustrates the fairy tale stories of classic folk tales, and is starring some of Hollywood's most talented performers such as Meryl Streep as the Witch, Anna Kendrick as Cinderella, Johnny Depp as the Wolf, Emily Blunt as the Baker's Wife, and many more talented actors on the screen and on the stage! Come see your favorite bed time stories retold in a whole new way that will transform your childhood dreams into a reality that touches the heart.

In theaters December 25! Christmas Day!
